Update Summary
Calendar Version 3.0.3 introduces enhanced Parental Lock controls, more flexible Chore and To-Do customization, improved family member management, and a more intuitive Home screen experience.

01. Enhanced Parental Lock
A new Parental Lock feature has been added to HomeCal™, allowing parents to restrict access to selected features.
When enabled, children cannot access restricted areas or accidentally modify important family settings and information.
Path: Settings → General → Parental Lock
This provides parents with greater control over how HomeCal™ is used within the family.
02. Customize the Order of Chore Member Cards
Chore member cards now support manual sorting, allowing families to arrange members based on their preferred order.
Path: Chores → Press and Hold a Member Card → Drag to the Desired Position
03. Customize the Order of Reward Member Cards
Reward member cards now support custom sorting.
Path: Rewards → Press and Hold a Member Card → Drag to the Desired Position
04. Customize Chore Repeat Rules
Chores now support more flexible repeat settings.
Users can create recurring Chores based on different schedules, including:
- Weekly
- Monthly
- Yearly
- Custom Repeat Rules
Path: Chores → Add/Edit Chore → Repeat
This makes it easier to manage different types of recurring family tasks.
05. Add Notes to Chores
Users can now add notes when creating or editing Chores.
Path: Chores → Add or Edit a Chore → Notes
Notes can include additional instructions, reminders, or completion requirements, helping family members better understand each task.
06. Improved Chore Sorting
Chores are now automatically organized based on their scheduled time.
This improved sorting makes important and upcoming tasks easier to find, helping families stay organized throughout the day.
07. Press Enter to Add the Next To-Do Item
Creating multiple To-Do items is now faster and easier.
When adding a To-Do item, users can press Enter to automatically create the next item.

08. Swipe to Edit or Delete To-Do Lists
The previous press-and-hold editing action has been replaced with a faster swipe interaction.
Path: To-Do → Swipe a To-Do List → Select Edit or Delete
This makes managing To-Do lists faster and more intuitive.
09. Updated Meal Empty State
The Meal section now provides improved guidance when no meal content has been added.
This helps users better understand how to start creating and managing their meal plans.
10. Bluetooth Connection Status Indicator
A Bluetooth connection icon has been added to the Home screen.
When a Bluetooth device is connected, the icon will appear, allowing users to quickly check the current connection status.
11. Improved Home Screen Layout
The Home screen layout has been updated to make frequently used features easier to access.
The Entertainment Hub is now displayed by default, allowing users to quickly discover and access entertainment features.
12. Improved Member Filter Management
The Calendar member filter has been enhanced with additional information.
Users can now view:
- Total number of family members
- Whether each member is currently enabled for display
13. Default Calendar Reminder Setting
When creating a new Calendar event, reminder notifications are now turned off by default.
Users no longer need to manually disable reminders each time they create an event.
This helps simplify event creation and provides a smoother scheduling experience.
